EMBODIED SOLIDARITY
A by-donation restorative yoga and meditation class to embody our solidarity with all Indigenous peoples and their right to self-determination, from Canada to Palestine and beyond. We offer this safe, compassionate time and space in honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day and in recognition of the ongoing fight for liberation of the Palestinian, Kashmiri, and other Indigenous peoples.
All proceeds will be donated to the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) to support access to medical care and mental health support for Palestinian children. If you’re unable to attend this class and wish to donate to PCRF, you can do so here: DONATE NOW. Let us know about your donation so we can share it in our total donation amount! You can also donate to Camp Al-Jawad, a school for displaced children in Gaza strip. Yoga 4 Pal Action organizers have direct contact with Camp Al-Jawad.

SUMMER RENEWAL
A special yoga and meditation class to explore the rejuvenation offered by the coming Summer Solstice through intentional movement, breath, and reflection. This seasonal shift on June 20 invites us to pause and reflect on the changes taking place within and around us. With our daylight at its peak, this can be a natural moment to gain clarity, to release what's no longer needed in our lives, and to move forward with a greater sense of freedom and energy.

JOINT LOVE - a morning mobility class
Feel stiff, achy, or like your body just isn’t moving the way it used to? JOINT LOVE is your weekly reset – a focused, intelligent mobility class designed to strengthen your joints so you can maintain an active lifestyle with more freedom and less pain for the long run. You’ll improve your ranges of motion and build stability and resilience from the deepest layer of movement. This class supports recovery, injury prevention, and movement longevity by targeting the often-overlooked areas where movement begins. This is mobility for real life.
Expect to leave feeling more open, grounded, and capable in all your daily movements.
No mobility training experience required – just your willingness to show up and try a movement practice with game-changing effects.

MOBILITY LAB - an evening mobility class
Whether you lift at the gym, run, hike, or bike regularly, or work a labour-intensive job, your body takes a lot. MOBILITY LAB is a movement enhancement class to improve joint mobility and strength so you can keep doing what you love better and longer. Using a science-informed approach, you will build body control, expand usable ranges of motion, and reduce the risk of injury. Mobility training improves performance, recovery, and everyday movement capacity. This is focused work with real results.
Expect to leave feeling more connected, aware, and ready to take on your next workout, workday, or weekend adventure.
No mobility training experience required – just your willingness to show up and try a smart, innovative training method.

SUNRISE - an early morning yoga + mobility class
Early birds, this one’s for you. SUNRISE is a blend of yoga and mobility designed to get your body moving with purpose before the day gets rolling. Whether you want cross-training, active recovery, or just a solid movement practice, this class helps you build awareness and resilience – all before breakfast. You’ll explore essential tools that translate into better workouts, smoother daily motion, and a more grounded, intentional start to the day.
Expect to leave feeling awake, aligned, and ready – body and mind – for whatever the day holds.
No yoga and mobility experience required – just your willingness to start your day with smart movement.

TLC - an evening restorative yoga class
Perhaps the class you’ll crave the most – the one literally called Tender Loving Care. In TLC, you’ll slow down, be fully supported by a mountain of props, and finally give yourself permission to stop doing. This is the restorative practice your nervous system has been yearning for – a space to soften, restore, and receive. Time to let go of the hustle and stress and just be for a while. Receive the care you so often give to others.
Expect to leave feeling deeply relaxed, recharged, and more connected to your body’s natural calm.
No restorative yoga experience required – just your willingness to show up and nurture yourself generously.

REFRESH- a weekend morning flow class
Unpack the week and start your weekend with intention. In REFRESH, you’ll enjoy feel-good yoga flows and mindful movement designed to nourish your body and ease away tension. Along the way, you’ll get a side of inspiration – a fresh perspective to help you approach your week ahead with more ease, clarity, and energy.
Expect to leave feeling renewed, balanced, and ready to embrace the weekend.
No flow yoga experience required – just your willingness to reconnect with your body and start the weekend inspired.

SINUOUS , SENSUAL, SUBLIME - an intro to belly dance
Step into the rhythm and beauty of belly dancing in this joyful, fun-filled 2-hour workshop with visiting dance teacher Bobbie Barry from Victoria, BC. Together, you’ll explore foundational belly dance movements – like isolations and traveling steps – and then weave them into a short, expressive combination. Hip scarves and veils will be provided. This is an accessible, welcoming introduction to a beautiful Middle Eastern style of dance.
No experience needed, just a willingness to move and have fun. Wear comfortable workout clothing and socks or bare feet.

And maybe even spark a little something for later. No date night like a Sarah & Gord date night!
No experience needed, just a willingness to try something new and kinda spicy as a couple.

This playful and grounding workshop invites you and a buddy – your bestie, sibling, co-worker, or fellow adventurer – to connect through partner yoga, functional mobility, breathwork, and simple co-regulation practices. You’ll move, laugh, support each other (literally), and leave feeling more connected, relaxed, and uplifted. We all need a little we time.
No experience needed, just a willingness to try out some fun in-sync moves to show at the next party.

EMERGING - a yoga + meditation workshop for pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum
Pregnancy is a time of profound transformation, in all aspects of life and in you. How you move in your body, how you see yourself, how you imagine bringing your baby into the world… it all matters deeply. And you’re not meant to figure it out alone. Through yoga, mobility, pelvic health practices, meditation, reflection, and self-care rituals, you’ll learn how to best support yourself (and others on the same journey) as you prepare for birth and early postpartum. A new version of you is emerging!
No experience needed, just a willingness to connect with your baby and other parents-to-be.

EVOLVING - a yoga + meditation workshop for postpartum recovery
When your baby was born, so were you - as a parent. This transformation is immense, but in a culture that often skips over rites of passage into parenthood, it can feel overwhelming, even isolating. You’re not meant to do it alone. Your greatest guides are the intuitive wisdom within you and a compassionate community to support you. Through yoga, meditation and more, you’ll learn movement for recovery and have time to reflect and connect with others at the same stage. You are evolving!
